COGLING: E-Mail List for Cognitive LinguistsICLA news is funnelled through the cogling@ucsd network, which operates out of San Diego. ICLA members and others interested in Cognitive Linguistics can subscribe to cogling directly, to read and post news and engage in discussion on cognitive linguistic topics. To subscribe or to cancel your subscription to the list, you just need to send a one-line email to the listserv. The body of the message should simply say: ADD yourname@youraddress COGLING or DELETE yourname@youraddress COGLING Listserv problems requiring human intervention should be addressed to: cogling-relay@ucsd.edu. Members can send messages directly to cogling by emailing their message to cogling@ucsd.edu. All listmembers are urged to send information and questions relevant to the cognitive linguistics community to the cogling network: e.g., conference announcements, information about unpublished papers, working papers, preprints, dissertations, new books, descriptions of research projects, invitations to participate in projects, papers to be presented at cognitive conferences, announcements of papers in Cognitive Linguistics, queries about work on particular topics, calls for participation in workshops or theme sessions, etc. Titles from Mouton de Gruyter and Benjamins, the two main publishers of research in Cognitive Linguistics, can also be announced on Cogling. Members of the ICLA can also post notices of their own books (authored or edited) on the cogling list. They can also send notices of their books to Martin Hilpert, hilpert AT icsi.berkeley.edu for inclusion on the ICLA website under Research and Teaching Resources. Updated 16 Aug 2007 |
